More Photos Of Burro Smoke Column

Neighbor John Ferner took a series of photos yesterday of the smoke column/plume of the Burro wildfire northeast of here. The fire was reported at 8,000 acres late yesterday and had impacted the Mt. Lemmon highway, which is closed.

Above is image from 07:17 am MST - fire became active very early in the morning.

Below is image from 11:11 am - appears to be two areas burning intensely. The column on the right appears to have a pileus or lenticular cloud at its top.

Image above is from 11:47 am - now there is small lenticular cloud above the left column.

Image below is from 4:50 pm with nice pyrocumulus above the fire.
